Kaitlyn grew up in Perth and holds a degree in German and European Studies from UWA. Her passion for International Education and travel began during her time as an exchange student in Germany. After graduating, she started her career teaching English as a second language before transitioning into the higher education sector, joining ECU in 2012 as a Student Information Officer.

Since then, she gained extensive experience at universities in both Australia and the UK, including UWA, Imperial College London, and King’s College London, in roles within the areas of Study Abroad, International Student Support, International Partnerships, and Marketing and Recruitment.

In July 2024, she returned to ECU to join the International Business Operations team as an International Account Manager where she has been able to draw on her range of skills and expertise supporting and contributing to the IBO's range of activities and events and strategic vision.
