Hiranya Ganegoda is an accomplished professional with 9 years of experience in the overseas education industry. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Hiranya’s career has seen her grow from a counsellor to a Destination Manager for Australia, working across three prominent companies in Sri Lanka, where she managed the Australian, Canadian, and UK markets, overseeing the entire application-to-visa process.

Recognised for her excellence, she was awarded the Student Placement Excellence – Australia (Silver Category) in 2020 for her outstanding performance in student placements. She is also a PIER-certified counsellor, demonstrating her commitment to professional development and industry standards.

In her current role as the Regional Manager for Sri Lanka at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Hiranya focuses on promoting ECU, recruiting students, and managing agent partnerships across the region. She is passionate about helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad and believes strongly in the transformative power of higher education.
