Carol is the Director International in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. She is actively engaged in developing and sustaining several quality initiatives within the school including providing direction for international programs within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. In addition, Carol is a passionate academic whose focus is on the learning experience for all students regardless of where they are situated around the world. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate units including her current position of Course Coordinator for the Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) and Bachelor of Science – Nursing Studies (Sri Lanka). Carol has been recognised locally and nationally for her excellence in teaching winning numerous teaching awards. Her research interests are in meaningful employment opportunities for undergraduate students as assistants to the registered nursing and midwifery workforce.
