Ashlee brings a strong background in Marketing and Sport Business, with prior roles at the University of Technology Sydney and Curtin University. Her expertise centres on sport marketing and management, where she champions ethical decision-making and sound commercial practices across the industry.
Her research explores two core areas: sport business—including marketing, sponsorship, digital media, and governance—and social impact, focusing on ethical leadership, responsible governance, and diversity and inclusion in sport and events.
A passionate advocate for women in sport, Ashlee helped develop women’s AFL in Sydney and made history as the first female appointed to AFL Sydney’s Strategic Advisory Board. She currently serves as a Director on the Triathlon WA Board.
Driven by a commitment to transparency and integrity, Ashlee works to ensure that sport organisations embrace ethical practices that benefit athletes, fans, and the wider community.
